REGULAR EVENTS

We run 4 main regular weekly events within the CU. These events are made to equip student for ministry, build community, and evangelise throughout campus on a weekly basis!

EQUIP

• Equip - Tuesdays, 7pm for refreshments, 7:30pm start - This is our main meeting of the week, where we come together to praise God, pray, study God's word, and learn about practical ways we can be reaching other students with the gospel. Usually followed by hanging out in one of the bars on campus!

GLOBE

• Globe - Thursdays, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Fylde Common Room - Globe runs weekly events based around the celebration of culture! These events are aimed at international students, but ANY student is welcome to come along! It’s a great way to make friends across cultures. Each event is then followed by an optional Bible study!

PRAYER MEETING

• Prayer Meeting - Friday, 8am, Fylde Common Room - This is one of the most important meetings of the week. It's so good to come together and pray about things happening in CU, local Churches, Lancaster, and the rest of the world. Introducing our situations to God in prayer is such a privilege and so how great is it that we get to do it together, as students in the same university?!

IMPACT GROUPS

• Impact Groups are small groups made from CU members, who study the Bible together and ask big questions. It's a great way to get to know members of the CU who might not be in your year or church! These groups are separated in a faculty system, where you will be put with students studying within the same faculty as you. Impact Groups are held at different times in the week, depending on which group you're in.
